While most phosphate comes from mines where the best ore has long since been removed, PotashCorp lays claim to two of North America’s highest quality phosphate ore bodies. One is in Aurora, North Carolina; the other in White Springs, Florida. Combined, these ore bodies can provide PCS Feed customers with years of high-grade phosphate products.

Adjacent to the Aurora mine, PotashCorp has built an expansive defluorinated feed phosphate (DFP) plant. By virtue of the mine’s consistent quality of rock, and its lower acid impurities, this state-of-the-art plant offers enormous potential for the production of DFP.

Because it is the world’s largest single DFP processing unit, it offers our customers tremendous assurance of our ability to meet demands — not only the demand for quantity but also the demand for the quality required for tight specifications.
